PathwayEd

Teaching that meets every student where they are.

PathwayEd is a K-12 teaching platform. Families use it as a tutor at home. Schools license it to run instruction and student culture. It is the same teaching either way.

Admissions prep is built into the tutoring, from $19 a month per student.

The same teaching, at home and at school

The tutor families pay for at home is the teacher schools license for the classroom. Families call it tutoring. Schools call it instruction.

We built it that way on purpose, because it is the reason both work. A tutor that has to satisfy a parent paying month to month has to actually teach. A teaching tool that has to satisfy a school has to be accurate, supervised, and accountable to a record. Each side holds the other to a standard it would not meet alone.

What we hold ourselves to

Mastery is earned, not asserted
A skill is marked mastered when graded work supports it, not when a student says they understand, and not because they sat through a lesson. Most tools inflate this. We would rather tell you something uncomfortable and true.
Grade level is a starting point
Mastery is the source of truth; a grade is never a ceiling. A student who has mastered above their grade moves on. A student who has gaps below it gets them closed first, without shame and without being marched forward.
A child is never alone with it
In schools, high schoolers sign in with their school Google account. K-8 students use staff-supervised PINs inside an authenticated class session. A young child cannot log in without a supervising adult present. That is a design constraint, not a setting.
No one is surprised by a record
When a school runs Student Culture, families hear about an incident or a recognition within minutes: where their child stands, and what happens next. No student is left guessing, and no family learns of a record months after it was made.
