Terms of Service
Last updated: July 21, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and PathwayEd LLC. By creating an account or using PathwayEd, you agree to them. If you are using PathwayEd on behalf of a school, you agree to them for that school.
The service
PathwayEd is a K-12 teaching platform. Families use it as a tutor at home, and schools license it for instruction and student culture. A parent who creates an account is responsible for that account, for the children on it, and for keeping the login details secure.
Subscriptions and trial
Family plans are sold as a subscription, billed monthly or annually. Every plan begins with a 7-day free trial, and no card is required to start it. To continue past the trial you subscribe, and subscribing begins billing. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in the app, which stops future charges.
Each plan includes a set number of child profiles, and you can add more children for the additional-child price. Current plans, included profiles, and prices are listed on our pricing page. Schools are licensed separately, by invoice.
Acceptable use
Use PathwayEd for its purpose, which is learning. Do not misuse the service, attempt to reach other people's accounts, interfere with how it runs, or use it to harm others. PathwayEd is designed to be used with an adult nearby, so a parent is responsible for supervising a child's use.
No guarantee of outcomes
PathwayEd provides educational support tools. We make no guarantee of specific academic outcomes, grade improvement, test score gains, or admission results.
Mastery estimates and SAT readiness figures are informational estimates based on graded work. They are not certifications, predictions, or professional educational advice.
AI-generated tutoring content may contain errors. Parents and schools remain responsible for educational decisions.
Limitation of liability
PathwayEd is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, PathwayEd LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, tell account holders. Continuing to use PathwayEd after a change means you accept the updated terms.
